In partnership with live visual artists FIFO, Created Academy produced a brief to create a looping animation for a pre-recorded DJ live set from Beardyman, which could be used on stage or, more recently, on online streaming platforms.

Beardyman is a musician and beatboxer who creates, records and produces his music live in real-time using loops of his vocals. His style is a comedic blend of drum and bass, dubstep and techno beats, paired with a retro-futuristic brand aesthetic. These surreal, cyberpunk visuals often produce a frantic dream-like atmosphere with a sense of humour, which are all elements I've embodied in my concept.
